Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about joining ECC

What is the cost to join?

Returning members pay just $15, new members, and those who were not a member last year, pay only $75!

Regardless of whether you are a returning member or a new member you must get an OC Associate membership. This cost varies by year and is set by the OC. The addition of this membership is done automatically during the registration process. (NOTE: If are a current year member of another OC affiliated club you already have an OC Associate Membership and you do not have to pay this portion again).

When and where do the rides take place?

  • Our standard season runs from April until October.
  • November – March: We’ll schedule the rides each week based on the weather and road conditions.

Throughout the season we have special events that will pre-empt the club rides and these events will be communicated to members through the weekly email.

We organize our rides through a sports app named Spond, which allows us to provide:

  • start times and locations
  • ride routes via Strava
  • allows riders to confirm their attendance and others to see who is riding
  • in the case of poor weather, riders will be notified of cancellations as well

To participate in club rides you must be a member of the club. You can join by clicking this link Join ECC

The ride leaders will have a list of club members and ask for identification to confirm membership if needed. Our club status with the OC and our insurance depends on all riders being members.
